Who are you?
Teawithdidi.com is all about living fully and absolutely loving it. I am on an adventure to help people build and sustain an amazing, engaged life, where excitement and imagination, play and fun are as just as important ingredients, as are the mastering of our energy on a daily basis, our ability to connect, and the exploration of our creativity.
Why Did you start your business?
TeawithDidi.com was born out of my desire to share my message and a way of living with the world. More than ever, we race through our lives overwhelmed, anxious, slaves of our to-do-lists, taking pride of our ability to multitask and work long hours. I have been at this race, too, to the point to consider sleeping as a complete waste of valuable time. After I burnt out, I finally started to learn my lessons. Lessons, that I want to share with the world. Like - downtime is productive time. Nourishing ourselves fuels performance. Connecting to nature frees up creativity. Laughter heals. And many others. I am still learning..
What makes your business unique?
The blend of high energy with the slowness required when drinking tea.
What's the biggest mistake you've made with your business and what did you learn from it??
I prefer to believe that there are no mistakes in life – only lessons that are repeated until learnt. I have procrastinated forever in launching teawithDidi.com. I was not brave enough to show up and expose myself to the public. I was torn by an internal conflict – how could I keep a low profile and privacy whilst doing meaningful work that reaches as many people as possible? I was so afraid of criticism and judgment that I preferred to hide behind the comfortable walls of my successful corporate career. I am still afraid. But I chose to focus on delivering great value instead. Because it is worthy.
what big goal do you have for your company and how do you plan to achieve it?
My biggest goal is to provide an enormous value to my audience, doing generous work that is touching people for good, inspiring them to live fully and redefine what is possible. How? By committing to high quality content, loyalty and presence.
what advice or tips do you have for people wanting to start their own business or follow their dreams?
The best time is… NOW. Stop Thinking about it – start working on it. You don’t have to have a very clear vision and all steps figured out in advance - clarity does come with engagement. Persistence creates luck.
